The nurse who left the message for me today had the most "i have good news' tone to her voice from the moment she started speaking. Which...I loved. I'm in the middle of the artist retreat in Florida...and most of the other artists are much younger and only one has a child...so I didn't put the phone on speaker and share it with the group..i shuffled away to the corner of the "mess hall" and listened to it. and was so so happy to hear nothing but good stuff. I wasn't REALLY worried..but i have been making lots of jokes at the expense of the boy growing in my stomach and was worried perhaps i was going to be punished for using him as a punchline. but it turns out it's okay to act like you're punching your belly and smoking cigarettes.
I'm in the middle of a series artist land in humid florida.....lots of performance artists..who ironically are doing performance art pieces that are similiar to what Jeff is ACTUALLY doing in Alaska. (today he told me the drama of telling a woman that her fish that she 'okay'd" was actually under the required weight....and she punched him. Not literally....but with her attitude.
and his shins have been hurting him from standing so he was told by the locals to eat bananas. "I have a banana split after lunch and dinner". is what he told me.
I feel good..i don't have too much to report. I'm feeling very big and i know i'm not that big--i'll post a picture soon. mostly it's the size of the bosoms that freak me out..and scare the locals.
YAY!!!!!! YEAH!!!!!!!!!! HIP HIP HOORAY!!!!!!!!!! SIS BOOM BAH!!!!!!!! ALLRIGHTA!!!!!!!!!
