75th percentile

LEO IS LARGE.

"he's a star!!" the doctor said after examining him. How did the doctor know that was the ultimate compliment in my world? He said it several times..."this baby is a star!". A fat star. A 12 pound 7 ounces--23 inch long star. When Leo was laying on the table waiting for the doctor he did look like the most giant perfect baby and I got a huge OH MY GOD...I LOVE HIM emotional surge that then swung into a crying jag after they gave him his shots.

The nurse who gave him the shots was like 'hold his leg down for me....and now...CLOSE YOUR EYES!! DON'T OPEN THEM!!! CLOSE THEM!!!!" i hope she wasn't stealing money from me every time she said that. I should check my wallet.

Leo screamed and then cried and then I breastfed him and cried and then he slept for five hours. I kept telling myself how lucky we were to get vaccinations..they'd kill for this in India.

That's the big report.

We've heard nothing from Zach...we're very curious what will happen with him this semester-if he's going to do the work to stay in school. I feel guilty when I write about stuff with Zach--he's a boy and is very private and doesn't like his business being discussed. (that's why it was so great when he got back together with Lizzie because she tells EVERYTHING). Plus I don't want Zach to get mad at me and crash my car. It's a lease.

January is almost over. I thought you should know.
