These photos were all taken by a friend of mine Lorijo who we stayed with in Portland. She'd insisted we stay with her instead of at the hotel that the producers who were bringing me out had arranged for us....and thank god I did what she told me to do. Everybody had said 'stay with Lorijo. She's amazing and maternal and she makes incredible coffee." We had such a wonderful time there and they babysat for Leo during one of the show nights and Leo has asked us (with his eyes) if he could stay with them forever in the womb that is LoriJo. Of course I was a bit angry when I found out that she'd put him in angel wings and put a 'asian themed' hat on him but her coffee made up for it. I need a digital camera like hers. One that costs around 4 thousand dollars. AS soon as I pay off my cell phone bill.
Lorijo is also a photographer--so it's not just her camera. I wanted to clarify that.
Before Portland we were in the bosom of Berkeley having an amazing time with the Parks. I have some adorable videos of Leo being loved on HARD by his cousins Rosy and Lucy. Incredibly cute....and it was wonderful to see all those folks too. Every visit--everything is just better with Leo.
He's being so cute right now--with his talking and squeeling (how do you spell that--geez) that my heart hurts.
I've been really busy with performing and teaching and traveling and now we're in rehearsals in Seattle getting ready to do some shows....so I'm behind on the blogging. I just told my manager that the reason her commission checks from the pilot and Hung were late is because I've been busy blogging.
I haven't seen Date Night yet...but I'm hearing good things from folks about the scene I did. Of course who's going to tell me "the movie died when you opened your mouth"?
My friend Jon would. And I think if Lisa didn't like it she'd say 'it was okay'. She'd give me the truth. the rest of you are liars.
just kidding.
Leo is in his jumper thing all the time. He loves it. He's still sleeping in the bed with me and he's kicking me all the time. Which is helping me spend more time laying awake in bed worrying about my life. So I don't regret my co-sleep thing at all...
Oh my God this child is SO delicious!
