Today Imagine That opens--the Eddie Murphy movie that I shot a few years ago. Jeff has been checking the internet every few minutes to watch the reviews...whenever there's a good review he says something like "oh yeah...baby gotta get some shoes..." I don't think the movie will be some HUGE ROARING SUCCESS. poor eddie has done so many bad movies that it's hard to pull the people in I think. But Jeff thinks because the little girl looks like Obama's daughters--we have a shot. I saw the movie last weekend and it was good--the first shot of me was like a HORROR SHOW. My hair and my face and the outfit--was so...horrible. But it got better. And i'd forgotten how I'm in it a fair amount but I don't do a lot. Just a lot of 'phone call for you." and "here's your papers".
But I'd go see it now before it leaves the theaters---which could be in a weeks time--you know how it is these days....I was going to say that you dont want to miss seeing me on the big screen but maybe you do.
I felt like I 'popped' last night in the middle of the night. But it could have been gas. I was wide awake obsessing on if something was happening when Jeff started talking in his sleep. He said-and I quote--"Listen babe, you're wonderful. You're so funny..." I was mad that he was telling someone else in his dreams that they were funny. I'd just been dreaming that I was in a parking garage and couldn't find my car so I'd sent him to go find it.
we've seen the preview twice and we all start screaming. i think you look great on the big screen.
ReplyDeletei told the little girls about the baby tonight. lucy started crying and rosy had an ear to ear grin on her face - they are soooo excited!!!! lucy said when we all die, she'll take care of her and teach her how to walk, and talk, and run and fly.
ok - we saw it!!!!!!!!!! you were GREAT! you looked great, your own frames were great, great gams, great, great, great. you looked a little too skinny though. and eddie was good! and the little girl was good, and eddie wasn't toooo silly like he can be. redemption for eddie murphy! i cried!!!! we all did a lot more shrieking every time you were on screen. did you walk the... red carpet???? pray tell!
