No college for the baby

Our TV broke a few days ago---which threw everybody into a state of shock. When we realized it was broken we at first all tried to pretend WE WERE HAPPY. WE NEVER REALLY WATCHED IT ANYWAY. and started looking forward to READING TOLSTOY..LEARNING ITALIAN....and INTERNET GAMBLING. after 10 minutes of that charade--we just went numb and tried to start awkward conversations...(Zach's favorite subject these days is how I'll poop the bed when i give birth to the baby....I'm the one that told him that could occur and I REALLY regret doing that. Because now it's not 'the baby's due dec 5th' for Zach..it's 'Lauren will be pooping herself on Dec 5th.'. )

Anyway..I dipped into the baby's college fund and had to buy a new TV from Cosco last night.
I know this is FASCINATING STUFF but another purchase that I have to make that is baby related (like the TV...the baby needs it to watch THE WIRE) is a something that will impact all of your lives...a sofabed. Or a really good futon. The baby's room will also be a guest room/Zach's room when he's home and vagabond resting area. I'm trying to think of the best thing I could buy that would be comfortable and welcoming to all ages...if you have any requests of what you like to sleep on--let me know. We'll have a portable crib so when you all are staying here--raising my baby for me--you can get some sleep.

I've gained 9 pounds. Everytime I get on the scale I'm shocked I've gained more weight--(as I'm eating a piece of pizza and trying to read the scale) ..it's like I forget that I'm supposed to.

Jeff's at work--when he comes home I'm going to have him take a picture of me to post. Naked. So you can really get a feel for the changes. Jeff has been INCREDIBLE--as I said. This morning he said "you look so beautiful" which made me start laughing because I felt so gross--then he said "whoa...watch those double chins".

Off to therapy now...I'd like to quit therapy but my therapist bullies me into going. Which I'm sure is a sign of a really good therapist. Who needs clients.

  2. yes it told me this morning it wants a fitness Wii--which i thought was odd. but if the baby wants it-it will get it. and then it asked me for cake.
