I'M ON A ROLLL!!!!

I had my first real relaxing day off yesterday in a really long time--and I went to bed super early and when I woke up today I had red hair--was 6 feet tall and could speak Mandarin. THAT'S HOW CHANGED I WAS BY SLEEP. I don't think I was even this sleep deprived after I had Leo. Or I was and I didn't notice because all I had to do was lay around with my boobs out. And watch TV. Now I've had to do so much more on so little sleep. Anyway--I've been more exhausted than I realized and am cashing on in my new life by catching up with blogs stuff.

Yesterday I spent the day at an old friend from Seattle's house with her 4 year old little girl who spent the day telling Leo not to touch her things because they were 'special to her". She was picking up wadded up tissues and clutching them to her chest and screaming that he couldn't touch them because they were 'SOOOO SPECIAL" to her. Leo has cured her of wanting a little brother. But it was nice to be in a house with kids and my friend took Leo so I could nap. Which I did. All day.

The day before that we went to the park...and went on a little hike.

Leo loves to take my picture now. The picture of me is one he took. We are each others muses.

Then today we went to the science museum which is amazing. It has this giant playroom for toddlers and it is AMAZING. It's the best playspace for kids I've ever seen. And it's perfect for Leo's age. There's this little ball area that Leo lays in like it's just a hot tub for toddlers. He just lays back in all the balls--blissed out. And today suddenly there was live music being played and hilarious older ladies who volunteer at the museum leading the Hokey Pokey.

We stayed there all morning. For lunch we had hummus and Leo ate some. Thank god..his diet is getting kind of scary. cheese--yam fries--strawberries--and pizza.
